Ben Erlandson is currently a doctoral candidate in the Educational Technology program, in the Division of Psychology in Education of the Mary Lou Fulton College of Education at Arizona State University. Ben is a native of Elkin, a small town in the foothills of North Carolina, and this makes him an Elkinite. Some folks have accused him of speaking with a Southern accent.

Some of Ben's favorite things to do include bicycle racing, downhill skiing, fly fishing, and nature photography. Ben is a hardcore Kurt Vonnegut fan, a music junkie, and an indie movie fanatic. He's been known to get a little obsessive about Carolina Tarheels Basketball, too...but who in their right mind wouldn't?

Following graduation from ASU, Ben is seeking a tenure-track position in academia, hoping to maintain a balance of high-quality research, teaching, and community service.
